Sheppard and DeLorenzo Notch Wins on Saturday Night

Matt Sheppard kept his championship hopes alive on the Super Dirt Series by picking up another win on the tour, this time coming at Rolling Wheels Raceway, as rain forced the race to take the checkered flag on lap 65 of 100. Also on Saturday night, it was Matt DeLorenzo who held off Bobby Varin to pick up the small block portion of McDonald's weekend at Fonda Speedway. The big block race scheduled for Sunday was rained out.

Also, the World Racing Group announced that at Super Dirt Week, 4 World of Outlaw Sprint cars (2 of which are Steve Kinser and Jason Meyers, a third we're being told is Jac Haudenschild but that's yet to be confirmed) will have a warm-up session and dash race on the Syracuse mile on Friday of Super Dirt Week.
