Wago driver AJ Romano will be out of action possibly for the rest of the season with back and neck problems, and will need to have surgery to heal properly. Romano has been having a solid year, despite leaving weekly action at Albany a few weeks ago. Get well soon AJ, we can't wait to see that #16 back on the track soon!
Big week of racing this week, RoC Dirt Tour runs at Five Mile Point Speedway on Tuesday night with a 75 lap $4,000 to win show. On Wednesday is the 36th annual Camp Barnes Race at Delaware International Speedway paying $3,500 to win for 35 laps. The big block Super Dirt Series has 4 races this weekend, running on Thursday at Brockville Ontairio Speedway, Autodrome Granby on Friday, Autodrome Drummond on Saturday, and at Cornwall Speedway on Sunday, each of which will be 100 laps paying $6,000 to win. The BRP Tour will run at Tri-City Speedway for their 16th annual Kodiak Memorial. Bridgeport Speedway has a weekly points race, with the winner recieveing a guarenteed starting spot in the $6,000 to win Atlantic Coast big block show in October.
