There are a couple of one-off deals planned for this weekend. First, Jeff Heotzler will return to the seat of a big block modified for the first time since blowing up his big block a few weeks ago at Orange County. Heotzler will be teaming up with Elmo Reckner, piloting the team's back-up car, at Fonda Speedway's McDonald's weekend this Saturday and Sunday.
Also, Mike Gular will be aboard the Glenn Hyneman owned #126 big block modified as the Tri-Track Series invades Bridgeport Speedway. It'll be the first start for Hyneman since he and Billy Pauch parted ways in August. Gular drove for Hyneman as a teammate to Jeff Strunk late in the season last year as well.
Finally, Stewart Friesen will be at Big Diamond Raceway this Sunday driving the MAD Motorsports #11D small block modified. MAD Motorsports has had Richie Pratt, Jimmy Horton IV, and for the end of the year, Tom Mayberry piloting their cars this season. MAD Motorsports has also had a slew of New York talent piloting their cars in the past, such as Bobby Varin and Brian Weaver.
