Fantasy League and Driver Chart Updates
Wow, good start to the 2010 Wago Crown Jewel Fantasy League! Already have 20 entries in! Keep them coming, this will be the fourth year having the League, and every year the number of entries has gone up, we had 62 last year, let's try to beat that number for 2010!

Pauch Jr Finally Announces Plans; Tidbits
Billy Pauch Jr has finally released one of the worst kept secrets this off-season, that he will be driving for Shawn Fitzpatrick weekly at Big Diamond. Fitzpatrick retired at the end of 2009, and was planning on selling out, but after PPB Racing shut down, began talks with Pauch Jr about racing his car at Big Diamond. This will be a Friday-only ride. Pauch Jr. will be behind the wheel of the Eastern Rigging Racing #11 small block for weekly Saturday action at Grandview.
Also, quite a few guys have announced they'll be moving up. Matt Pupello, who ran 358 modifieds regularly at Lebanon Valley in 2009, will move up to the big block division in 2010. Lebanon Valley sportsman top gun Neil Stratton will also move up to the big block division. Kale Groff, who made his first big block attempt late in the year at Lebanon Valley's Mr. Dirt Track USA race, will also move up to the track's big block division from sportsman. Paul Kline, who came back to racing last year, after taking a few seasons off from big car racing, in the sportsman divison will move up to the small block division in 2010.
Willy Decker Lands Ride
As previously reported on DTD and here, Willy Decker has landed the ride in the Commercial Roofing Racing #10 big block modified for weekly action at Brewerton Speedway. Doug Elkins made the news official with an interview with Willy today (Thursday), check out his site for more info!

2010 Club Wago Crown Jewel Fantasy League Now Open
We are doing another Fantasy League for 2010, we just released the schedule. It's called the "Crown Jewel" Fantasy League because it covers the 19 crown jewel races run in 2010. The races on the fantasy league schedule are the 19 big and small block races that pay at least $10,000 to win. You'll also need to pick 2 alternates if you're going to play, so you have a back-up driver for a race if your driver doesn't show up or DNQs, choose wisely though, because you only get 2 alternates for the season. The league is FREE to enter, and the winner will receive a FREE season pass to the track of the winner's choice for 2011, last year's winner selected Grandview for their season pass, the first year we did it the winner selected a pit pass for Super Dirt Week; and the winner will also receive a FREE 6-month subscription to Area Auto Racing News. If the winner is already a subscriber to Area Auto Racing News, the next highest finisher that is NOT a subscriber will receive the subscription! Other prizes to the winners will hopefully be announced too! Also, you do not have to be a member of Club Wago to play. If you guys are interested in playing, click the link I posted below and read the rules. The deadline isn't until the April 10th, before the green flag drops at Fulton for the first race on the schedule. I know it's not for a while, but figured I'd get it out there awhile. Thanks!! J.R. Heffner Is Back; 2010 Wago Fantasy League
J.R. Heffner, multiple time Lebanon Valley Speedway track champion, will return to full-time modified competition. Heffner will be teaming up with the Ronnie Dwyer team that Kory Sandstedt drove for last season for weekly competition at Lebanon Valley in the big block division, he'll also drive the Goodermote Motorsports #5 small block modified when they're on the schedule. Heffner is sorting out his traveling plans now. He'll still make a couple of Arca starts, but will focus on racing dirt. This comes a year after Heffner ran a lot of Arca races, and only a handful of starts at Lebanon Valley and Syracuse.

Lernerville Speedway Schedule Released; Dirt Mods on an Asphalt Road Course
I've added Dom Buffalino, Johnny Guarino, and (thanks to an interview on Doug's Dirt Diary) Billy Van Pelt to the driver chart.
New Jersey Motorsports Park will have a big block/small block race on June 20th. The race will be 50 miles long (not sure how many laps that means) and while the purse hasn't been announced, rumors say it's a good one. Also worth noting, the first 50 cars to pre-register are guaranteed starters for the race. Basically, since I'm pretty sure they won't get near 50 cars for this race, every car that shows up will start the feature.
Here's the latest schedule released, if the schedule gets cut-off, I apologize, copying and pasting doesn't work. New Egypt and Bridgeport have also released their schedules, I'll get them posted tonight.

Motorsports Update
There are a couple more pictures on South Jersey Dirt Racing's website from Motorsports, but not much.
Also, the Andy Romano Racing #97 will officially go to Bobby Varin for 2010. Varin drove the car at the end of 2009, along with a couple of other drivers in part-time deals, but Varin will get the nod to run the car weekly at Glen Ridge Motorsports Park. The team may also hit a few RoC Dirt Tour shows later in the year. As for the Commercial Roofing Racing #10 big block team, Varin will run the car in some of the bigger races in 2010, starting with Volusia. The team is still looking for a driver to run weekly at Brewerton. It looks like Willy Decker is the leading candidate for the right, he'll be helping Varin and the team at Volusia.

Motorsports This Weekend
Motorsports at the Great Philadelphia Expo Center is taking place this weekend, starting tonight (Friday.) There are a couple of preview pictures on South Jersey Dirt Racing, which shows the Wade Hendrickson #R10 Rio Brothers Racing team big block modified. Also, on www.cowpattynation.com they have pictures of Kevin Hirthler's #117 small block modified. Also on that page from about a week or so ago are pictures of the Mike Nicholas #3 modified. Best of luck to Miss Wago Heather Thompson, and fellow Wago member Loralyn Brinster as they both compete for the 2010 Miss Motorsports crown.
