Well, I must've been sleeping, because I completely missed that Ronnie Johnson has been named the driver of the Grasso Racing #19 modified for weekly action at Accord Speedway. He's been running the car the past 2 weeks, and was named the driver at the start of the season.
Ryan Watt will return to weekly action at Big Diamond Raceway, as he will be teaming up with HP Motorsports, whom he drove for last year. Watt will continue to run the Ron Roberts Racing #14w at Bridgeport Speedway. HP Motorsports originally had partnered up with Troy Wink, but the two parted ways and Wink is now driving for himself.
Tony Steiner is suffering from a knee injury that will force him out of action for a few weeks. Shawn Donath, who had been named the driver of Steiner's second car, will run the car on a much more regular basis now. Shawn's brother, Shane Donath, will run the second car in a part-time deal.
Look for Joey Grammes to have a second car at next week's RoC Dirt Tour with a multiple time Penn Can Speedway champion behind the wheel.
Also, Michael Weinert made his modified debut last weekend at Big Diamond Raceway. Look for Weinert to run a handful of modified races the rest of the year.
