Despite the 4-driver tie for most wins thus far in 2011, Jeff Strunk remains the only winner to have won at 4 tracks this year (Selinsgrove, Penn Can, Grandview, New Egypt). Seven total drivers have won at multiple tracks this season; they are Strunk, Stewart Friesen (Five Mile Point, Volusia, Brewerton), Brett Hearn (Volusia, Accord, Lebanon Valley), Matt Sheppard (Volusia, Glen Ridge, Canandaigua), Danny Johnson (Selinsgrove, Accord), Danny Creeden (Orange County, Five Mile Point), and Chad Cook (I-88, Thunder Mountain).
Luke Whitteker has been named the new driver of the CH Racing modified for weekly competition at Drummond and Granby. Whitteker will drive the car that's been ran for the last few seasons by David Hebert. It appears that Hebert will be running his own equipment this season, but that hasn't been confirmed.
Unfortunately, this will be my last post here until next Sunday night. I'm heading to West Virginia with some friends tonight, and won't be getting back until Sunday night. I hope everyone has a great next week of racing!
