It’s April
and several more tracks spring into action this weekend. On Saturday, the 50th
season of racing at Grandview Speedway gets underway at 7 p.m. The first
Modified races at Mercer and Sharon for 2012 are also on the docket for Saturday.
Bridgeport and New Egypt Speedways will be conducting their second races of the
season.
On Easter
Sunday, Big Diamond Speedway hosts a special card with $4000 going to the
winner of the 40-lap Open Modified affair. The winner of this race gets a
guaranteed starting spot in October's Short Track SuperNationals at Five Mile
Point Speedway.
Plus as Jamie added in the chat box, Canandaigua opens with the Super DIRTcar Series this weekend as well, and Fonda has the $4,000 to win Ice Jam.
