Now that Jimmy Chester has returned to weekly action as he was waiting for a new motor, two other veteran speedsters are planning to return shortly from medical issues.
Scott Irwin was sitting in the grandstands this past Saturday and reports that his car is ready for action. Scott had some health issues and is hoping to get the green light from his doctor within the next week or so. He says he feels quite well and is shooting for a return on May 19.
Steve Durand had surgery earlier this year and the team is reporting that the racer from Mahwah, NJ should be back in action in late May/early June.
