Anthony Marci Racing has landed Chad Brachmann as the team's driver in '14. Brachmann will return to weekly competition at Merrittville Speedway with the Macri team. Brachmann will continue to run his own #3 weekly at Ransomville and the Tri-Track Series, along with select other big and small block specials. He will not defend his championship on the BRP Modified Tour.
Yates County Raceway (formally known as Black Rock) has announced another date for the big/small block modifieds on September 19th. The Friday night event will be 50-laps pay $4,000-to-win.
Mike Perrotte recently left his position as promotor at Airborne Speedway Park. Since then, Perrotte has announced he will return to weekly competition at Albany-Saratoga Speedway, and has now announced a part-time promotion he will be running in '14. Perrotte has teamed with Quebec's Autodrome St-Eustache to promote three dirt modified events at the asphalt facility. The dates for the event are May 24th, June 21st, and July 19th. A purse has yet to be announced for the events, but they will more than likely mirror the Airborne purses from recent years ($1,500 to win).
