Jody Gable will not be returning to action, at least not on a weekly basis, in 2009. Gable made his return to modified racing at Super Dirt Week with Bobby Varin behind the wheel. Rumors were swirling that JR Heffner could possibly take over behind the seat. Expect Gable Motorsports to possibly run a handful of shows with a driver to be named later in 2009.
Also, Billy Pauch Jr. will remain in the seat of the Pioneer Pole Buildings #8 small block modified in 2009 at the Big Diamond Raceway. Look for the team to run some big block events together as well throughout the year.
