Not So Breaking News

Well, sitting here working third shift this weekend. Let me tell you, I don't know how you third shifters pull this off, I'm beat and I've still got 2 and a half hours to go!

Anyway, I deleted some old driver links, and added some news ones.

Also, in case any of you missed it in the chat box, Chad Sinon and Doug Hoffman will not be running together this year. Sinon and Hoffman announced in the off-season that Hoffman would be in the BPG Racing 60over modified for special shows, but plans have fallen through. Hoffman will still run a modified at New Jersey Motorsports Park for the June 20th 50-mile race out of the Sal DeBruno Racing stable.

Troy Wink has parted ways with HP Motorsports on friendly terms. Most of the equipment that the HP team was running was actually Wink's equipment, so I don't expect them to field a car. Rumor has is that Wink may only run once a week, but almost might not run weekly at all, and instead just field a car for another driver. Corey Sechrist drove for Wink at Big Diamond Raceway on Friday night.

Area Auto Racing News broke the story that Ted Christopher will be teaming with with the Bartemy Race Team in a dirt modified for the New Jersey Motorsports Park race. Christopher tested one of Sal DeBruno's cars at the track during an open practice session a few weeks ago. Bartemy, who fields cars for family members Adam and Aaron at Airborne Speedway, will have three cars entered in the race, two for his sons, and one for Christopher. Speaking of the New Jersey Motorsports race, from collecting news from many sources, here are some of the cars we know are entered, there are still at least 10 more, as the field has received 35 entries to this point...

Also, looking back, I realized that I never posted that Dave Werber has teamed up with Jeremy Markle to drive for Markle at Orange County Fair Speedway. Markle is also helping out rookie Billy VanInwegen. Look for Werber to break out his own equipment later in the season.
