Jerry Higbie, who became one of the biggest name free agents in the off-season after parting ways with Mike Petruska a few weeks ago, has landed with the Ray Tuit #673 big block modified. The news was announced on Doug's Dirt Diary. Higbie will run weekly with the team at Orange County Fair Speedway, while running his own #97 weekly at Accord Speedway. Higbie plans on doing at least some traveling with both his own team and the Tuit team.
Gary Tomkins drove Ray Tuit last year, but left the team when they wanted to limit their traveling and run weekly at Orange County. He'll continue to drive for Ken Brewer Racing, and is looking for other rides.
