Well here's a rare Saturday update. Danny Johnson took the lead early in a caution-plagued night at Accord Speedway and dominated to pick up the $7,000 RoC Dirt Tour win after holding off Andy Bachetti on a couple of restarts. Duane Howard and Pat Ward had tough nights, and Friesen collected another top 5 finish, so he looks to be in good shape to win the RoC title with just one race remaining.
I-88 saw Justin Holland cruise to his 1st career modified victory in just his 3rd career start as he held off Joey Grammes in the feature event.
AARN reported that Jeff Brownell may return to racing for the first time since Volusia tonight at Rolling Wheels, no word on whether or not he'll do anymore racing between now and the 2nd of the year.
Mike Perrotte is the latest driver to confirm his plans to run in the SEF 200 at Super Dirt Week. Sportsman star Chris Raabe will run in the 358 race, along with the sportsman race.
Now for some World Finals news, some drivers plans are coming together, Dave Murdick, Michel Chicoine, Chris Higgins, Bobby Varin, Matt DeLorenzo, Donnie Corellis, Jerry Higbie, and Billy Pauch Jr are just a few guys that have informed me they'll be heading south in November.
Look for Kerry Kratz to return for his first start of 2010 at the Short Track Super Nationals.
Fulton Speedway's Outlaw 200 (FultonSpeedway.com), and Five Mile Point's Short Track SuperNationals (BDMotorsportsMedia.com) have been updated fairly recently if you want to check them out.
