Varin and Hearn Win Big

Two more big races are in the books, as the New Yorker 100 at Utica Rome Speedway, and the Race Fest 150 at Autodrome Drummond, both of which paid $10,000 to win were run on Saturday night.

At Utica Rome Bobby Varin dominated, leading every lap and going on to collect the $10,000 pay day. Drummondville wasn't as easy, as a battle between Dale Planck and Brett Hearn took place, with Hearn taking the lead after lap 100, and collecting his first 5-digit pay day of the season.

Three races of the fantasy league took place this past weekend, I'll have the standings up by tomorrow night.

Tim Hindley will be going to Syracuse with his big block modified, and according to Race Pro Weekly, J.R. Heffner will also be there with a big block. Look for Steve Paine to make his return to the mile, with a legitimate attempt to win the 200.
