Burley takes Summer Nationals, Clair and Hearn win 100 lappers on Friday; other winners

This huge week in modified racing continued with Todd Burley picked up the big win in Ransomville Speedway's biggest race of the season. Vic Coffey and Chad Brachmann were battling with Burley for the lead with a handful of laps to go when Coffey and Brachmann were involved in an accident with a lapped car, allowing Burley to cruise to the $6,800 victory. Brett Hearn won Albany's second 100 lapper of the season, netting him over $3,000, and Mario Clair was able to stop David Hebert's streak on the Canadian Dirt Tour as he picked up the $3,000 to win 100 lap big block main at Edelweiss.

Other Friday night mains went to; Richie Pratt opened up his points lead with a win at Bridgeport, Craig Terrell crept back into the points chase with a win at Penn Can, Matt Sheppard finally picked up another feature win at Brewerton, Craig Von Dohren kept momentum on his side by picking up his 3rd win in 9 days with a win at Big Diamond, Jamie Yannone ended his sophmore slump with a win at Accord, Craig Hanson notched off his 2nd win of the year at Glen Ridge, and Kevin Bolland ended Brian Swartzlander's dominance with a win at Lernerville.
