Craig Von Dohren picked up his 4th win in 10 days with a $10,000 triumph in the 358 modified 50 lap feature at the Forrest Rogers Memorial. Von Dohren survived an early race tangle to come through the field and take over the lead with less than 10 laps to go, and survived a late race restart to pick up his 2nd Forrest Rogers win in 3 years. Von Dohren also won Big Diamond last night, Grandview last week, and last Thursday won the MS Race for a Cure big block feature at Bridgeport which netted him $5,500. He's now won 4 of the last 5 races he entered. Rain washed out most of the races on Saturday, especially in the New York area.
Other Saturday night winners; Matt Sheppard picked up his 2nd win of the weekend with a win at Canandaigua, Tommy Carberry won his first feature of the year at New Egypt, Steve Hartman Jr. ended the Van Pelt brother's winning streak at Woodhull, Chad James, Wade Hendrickson, Steve Bottcher, and Mike Iles split the Bridgeport 4-dozen lap features, and Joey Grammes won at Five Mile Point.
