Specials This Week

Well, as we start to near the end of the racing season, the special shows continue to pile up. This week there were already 2 specials, Merrittville's Super Dirt Series race that netted Jimmy Phelps $6,000 and Fonda's NMX Series race that netted Brett Hearn $6,000. Tonight on the schedule is the dirt big block/small block asphalt shootout at Airborne Speedway which will pay $3,000 to win the 75 lap feature, also on the schedule for tonight the RoC Dirt Tour invades Five Mile Point Speedway for a $4,000 to win 75 lap feature event. Then on Friday night, the Super Dirt Series invades the Brewerton Speedway for another $6,000 to win 100 lap big block event. Two other specials on Friday include Black Rock paying $3,000 to win the 30 lap 358 modified feature, the Lucas Oil 358 Series invades Ohsweken for their 2nd last race of the year, and Big Diamond paying $3,500 to win the 40 lap 358 modified feature for the Chad Miller Memorial. Finally, on Saturday the Super Dirt Series has two 50 lap races at the Canandaigua Speedway paying $3,000 a piece to win.
