Roy takes Airborne Challenge; Friesen holds off Ward at Five Mile Point; Andy Bachetti news

Martin Roy defended his home turf at Airborne Speedway with a 75 lap feature win worth $3,000, Tim McCreadie made his 2nd start in a big block this season with a strong 2nd place finish.

Stewart Friesen held off Pat Ward to slightly cut into Ward's points lead with a $4,000 triumph at Five Mile Point on Wednesday night on the RoC Dirt Tour.

Current Accord Speedway points leader was involved in a hard crash Tuesday night with Bob Henry Jr at Fonda Speedway. Bachetti went to the hospital with an apparent broken shoulder that could sit him out of action for a few weeks. Henry was scene in the pits with a bad limp, but was not taken to the hospital.
