Hebert takes Canadian Dirt Series race #2 at Mohawk

David Hebert continued his dominance as he looks to claim his 2nd Canadian Dirt Series title in a row by winning his 2nd Canadian Dirt Series race in a row. The 100 lap win netted him $3,000 for the big block victory, and he continued to show his case that he is arguably the best big block driver north of the boarder in todays modified division. With Hebert's two wins, he's jumped out to a big points lead with just 3 races remaining. Tonight the series heads to Edelweiss Speedway for another exciting 100 lap feature event.

After questions about how the series would fair with the series running 6 100-lappers in a span of a week, many fans and drivers thought that drivers wouldn't be able to afford to support the series and car counts would be disappointing. However, all the races so far have had more than 30 modifieds in the pit area, and have had great crowds. Good to see the Canadian Dirt Series getting the support it deserves.
