It was a big weekend in modified racing, as the fastest growing modified race of the year, the Friends of Mike race at New Egypt Speedway was on hand. Willie Osmun came from 8th starting spot, snuck around names like Pauch, Cozze, Hoffman, and many others of the best in the business, and held off late race charges by Danny Johnson to win his first career modified feature, which ended up being worth $15,000. Brett Hearn went on to win a caution-free 125 lap feature at Cornwall Motor Speedway, part of the Canadian Nationals Series. Here are the rest of this past weekends results...

A big week and weekend of racing are approaching, Matt Sheppard, Tim McCreadie, and Willie Osmun have already collected 5-figured wins this season, two more races are scheduled for this week. On Monday (tonight) the Super Dirt Series rolls into Merrittville Speedway for the next race on their schedule. Then, on Thursday, the Hard Clay Challenge worth $10,000 to the winner is on hand at Orange County Fair Speedway. The following night, at Ransomville Speedway, the small blocks will once again race for $10,000, this time in the Alex Friesen Summernationals.
