Ted Christopher to Super Dirt Week?

Race Pro Weekly is reporting that asphalt modified superstar Ted Christopher is interested in running in this year's Rite-Aid 200. Christopher picked up a dirt modified win back in June at New Jersey Motorsports Park, the win was worth $7,000. Don't be surprised to see Christopher team up with Bobby Hearn for an assault on the mile. Hearn didn't ask Ronnie Johnson to return to the seat of the Teo House Car for this year's Super Dirt Week event, and Christopher was driving a car listed under Bartemy Racing for the New Jersey Motorsports Park race, but the motor was the only thing owned by that team, the car was Bobby Hearn's and he was the one who got Christopher in touch with the Bartemy team. We'll have to wait and see.

Also, Stewart Friesen will be running for Buzz Chew in this year's 358 race at the Syracuse mile. Friesen will be the only driver attempting to run both the 358 race at Syracuse and the Short Track Super Nationals that night at Five Mile Point Speedway. Friesen has a guarenteed spot in the Five Mile Point feature, so if he missed his heat, it isn't a major loss. Thanks to Brett Deyo for the information.
